Paris 2006

Paris 2006, nice title...It's always great to return to places that you love and Paris is one of them. This time (3rd in my life) I had the time to do some sightvisiting and watch my favourite M on convert. Here's the recap of the sightseeing...

Too typical I know, but this place (Louvre, duh!) is a pure vault of cultures...My question to this huge collection is only wether these artifacts were obtained (bought) or obtained (stolen) from the respective countries...I can't believe that Egypt and Greece, the two main fill-a-museum countries have provided all these treasures.

I know I shouldn't...but I did...take a photo of this masterpiece.

The beautiful Aphrodite of Milos...

Just a small ;) sphinx removed from Egypt...

Next stop the Al Fayette mega store, a true Parisian attraction for all shop-a-holics. Not the cheapest place on earth but a place where you can get a mainstream/elegant glimpse of Parisian style.

Here's the Monmart, and the cathedral on top. The place has also been world famous after the (very beautiful) movie 'Amelie'.

Again, shame on me for this photo but it really couldn't help it...

A lot of street artists operate in the area of Monmarte. Like this lady creating 'name tags' where the letters are formed by joining animals and plants...a very beautiful result made in minutes...

Finally, a Greek touch, Saint Micheal, and a good place for hanging out at night.

Well that's it, so quickly provided, but yet so beautifull illustrated. Can't wait for the time I will go back to France (hopefully explore other beautiful cities/places)...
