1)Madonna - Hung Up
2)The Rasmus - No Fear
3)Depeche Mode - Precious
4)Franz Ferdinand - Do You Want To
5)Rolling Stones - Streets Of Love.

Happy downloading with itunes and stay tuned for a more serious topic.

Getting cold? Time to miss holidays!

Today I got a really good cold (indeed). I really want to (still) believe that it's still summer but today the temperature wanted to destroy (once and for good) this belief. Wearing only a light shirt I was fooling around in cold wanting everyone to believe that the winter is still far away. Well, it wasn't! That's why now I feel a little bit sick (Why mothers are always right? She warned me first thing in the morning!).

I'm now sitting, listening to 'The Scientist' (live from a festival) by Coldplay and the universe is conspiring. Chris Martin (lead singer of Coldplay) right in the beggining of the song feels like he can't sing and he starts coughing. I KNOW, I should wear warmer clothes OK!

What I wanted right now was to find a nice picture to bring back memories from the (long gone) summer and I came up to this photo which has a twofold reason for being here. The first is that the summer is only 6 months away (it gets warm early in Greece) and that about a month ago I started sailing lessons.

Sailing is pretty fascinating but a tough cookie as well. Mmm, I shall stop right know cause I really feel I should devote a whole new article about sailing. Until then say 'antio' to the summer and try to enjoy winter (oh jingle bells...oh jingle bells...I'm in a hurry!)

Eating Out: Artisti Macaroni

Well, it's good to have nothing planned to do over the weekend. Just wake up, feel your mood and go wherever you want to. That's somehow the way me and X chose to go out for a walk and end up in the new Italian restaurant of Mikrolimano ('small port' in Pirea, a municipality full of ports!).

Artisti Macaroni opened just a month ago in one of the most prestiguous places in Athens. The restaurant has the benefit of serving food in front of the picturesque port of Mikrolimano. The view is majestic and the people here are a mixture of skippers, business executives and beautiful couples. Yes, it's very romantic at night.

The menu of the reasturant is consisted of fresh pasta, pizza and meat / poultry cooked either by an Italian recipe or a traditional Greek makeover. Both cuisines co-exist harmonically in this menu providing choices for all sorts of people.

Me and X chose a green salad, eggplant and smoked chees brusquettes and little nests filled with cream and veggies. All were eaten whithin seconds and all were delicious. As a main dish I chose spaggheti with colourful peppers, dices of pork and mozarella chunks while X chose the seafood spaghetti. My dish was really excellent while X's lacked of big chops of seafood (everything was thinly chopped) and the salsa was a little bit heavy.

To sum up, Artisti Macaroni is a really good choice for people who want to eat out with a view. Everything was perfect despite some service delays and a general aura of disorganization.

Rating: ***/5

Hot traxx of the week

My new DSL connection is working fine. Now I only have to find stuff to download. I have queued all movies I missed this year and albums that I wouldn't think of buying. Now I have nothing. Any suggestions please?

Well that's the main idea of this topic. I will try to give you 5 new songs that I really like so you can check them out. If you like them I really suggest you should buy them(from itunes or your local cd store) cause it's the nicest way of saying 'thank you' to the artists.

This weeks top5:

-Daniel Powter - Bad Day
-Sean Paul - We Be Burnin'
-Alanis Morissette - Crazy
-Black Eyed Peas - Don't Lie
-Anna Vissi - Nylon

Enjoy!
